Milan Fall 07: Prada

Miuccia Prada is an absolute genius. That's all I can say, and that's what everyone else will say, but its just the truth. Looking at this entire collection I was just dumbfounded at how strange but profoundly modern it was. It felt natural and unforced and make me want to say "Well of course we're dressing like this!" No wonder this woman has inspired me for so many years. But now, here come the clothes!


It's boxy, awkward and a kind of hideous color yet it makes perfect sense and looks sooo cool! I love the hat and the cool legwarmers. It reminds me of what I thought people in the future would dress like when I was little.


It's such a techno look, but when you separate them, they become totally wearable, smart pieces.


Such a simple shape. Such amazing construction. The color is phenomenal and the seam detail is super cool.
