The best (and worst) think about working in Soho is all the awesome stores I'm surrounded by. While this is usually cause for concern, this past weekend, it was a cause for celebration. On my lunch break I ventured over the Marc Jacobs store on Mercer, which was having the most ridiculous sale my eyes had ever come across. I left the store extremely happy, with my two purchases. This great top (sans sash) that I will wear as an early 90's style dress with black tights and flats for my birthday in two weeks, and this killer hat that I had been absolutely drooling over since the fashion shows.
Then, I randomly stopped by the Kirna Zabete boutique, because I had heard that they were having a crazy sale as well, and lo and behold, the Proenza Schouler tank that I've been eyeing (but couldnt bring myself to pay $395) is on sale! Yay New York. And yay for my slowly-but-surely-becoming-fabulous wardrobe! Sometimes, it's just good to be a girl.
