NYC Spring 08 VI

1. Berardi:

I didn't even know that Antonio Berardi was showing in NYC these days, where have I been? I liked this look because it was perfect American sportswear. But there's something about the layering and proportions that gave it a little extra oomph and youth.

2. Derek Lam:

My favorite thing about this look was the color combination. I am really loving grey lately and that green with those super yellow undertones is fantastic. I love that the dress feels a little sloppy, with all those layers and ties, yet very chic. It's sexy in its relaxed attitude.

This is very different in attitude from the previous look, but I can't resist a great navy peacoat.

3. Diane von Furstenberg:

Love the tribal-inspired print.

Tie Dye marries Rainbow Sherbet and has a very chic baby.

4. DKNY:

A little too ChloƩ from recent seasons, but a cute dress nonetheless.

5. Michael Kors:

Every Spring, he makes one swimsuit that I absolutely adore.

6. Peter Som:

I love how light and airy this outfit is even though it's not some kind of ridiculous chiffon gown. It's actually quite structural and wearable, so I think somehow he managed to strike a perfect balance between fantasy and reality.
