This show was filled with charmingly intricate feminine dresses. Although I would usually shy away from clothes with such a description, I must say I was drawn to pretty much every look in the show. These were my two favorites, but I could see everything hanging in my closet.
2. Donna Karan:
This was a weird collection. It didn't seem like Donna Karan at all, and I kept clicking through it trying to find her spirit somewhere in the collection until finally, I found this one. Thank god. Don't ever scare me like that again, Donna.
3. Anne Klein:
My favorite prints were found at this show. The dresses all had such simple shapes that when combined with the unconventional prints they became a little more edgy. The first one is my absolutely favorite because it's borderline mid-90s geek chic and I remember those years very fondly.
4. Marc by Marc Jacobs:
I haven't really been into Marc by Marc clothes in a while (shoes are another story), but this collection had many sophisticated hidden gems that would work on women and not exclusively on 14 year olds. The collection perfectly fit in with my current 60s obsession, so maybe that's why I liked it so much.
This is a perfect little dress. The shape is very conservative but the color combination updates it a bit. The little loafers are definitely going to be in my closet (they remind me of a patent leather pair I got at Baker's when I was in 7th grade, I thought they looked like Gucci).
The details in this are so intricate and beautiful. This dress is, dare i say it?, sexy.
