Luck be a lady

You can tell how much of a nerd I am when this is my favorite part of the Katie Grand interview on The Guardian.
The sitting room is entirely lined with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves containing bound volumes of Arena, Blitz, Dazed & Confused, Elle, i-D, The Face, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and British, American, Italian and French Vogue.
Sigh. Some women have all the luck.
You can read the rest of the article here.

oh yeah, that made me sigh too, but I guess I expect her to have a killer oversized closet... the stuff dreams are made of.

Agreed! I so wish that I had the space to store all of my magazines, I hate having to throw them away because I have no room. Yeah, an entire rail of Prada made me green like Susie!!

She must have signed a pact with the devil to get that absolutely GORGEOUS skin. Love her and wish I could live in her closets!

Someday I will have a library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves full of goodies and lamps and big leather chairs and huge bottle of whiskey and you, Laia one, will be there to say adorable things and tell me what not to wear.

Someday.

I read the whole article. And then I read it again. There's something about her that is so real and lovable. (Sigh).

Was this the same interview where she said that she suddenly got dropped by Miuccia Prada? (I read a couple of KG interviews over the weekend...)It felt good to know that that kind of shit happens to 'successful' people too. She usually annoys me but I think it's cos I used to go to some of the same places as her and Luella and they would always be acting loud and show-offy, it was just so in your face! But she did refer to that period in the interview and acknowledge that they used to be a bit full on. Plus, I guess they were only young...it WAS the early 90s!

yeah, she mentioned that in the article. that made me like her more, because the way she sounded seemed so real and normal and i think she said she was a bit sad but she understood or other such thing. shes human!
