Shirtface!

wagh, I'm really putting effort into this pose, think Tyra would be proud?

This t-shirt is a perfect example of why I never throw anything away. I got this shirt the first time I visited NYC about 9 years ago at the Anna Sui store. I loved this tee, unfortunately it was HUGE on me. Too long, too baggy, too everything. Still, I kept this shirt folded in the back of my drawer. I took it with me everytime I moved, and quickly dissipated any thoughts of giving it away when they surfaced. Well, it seems like it paid off because I finally grew into it (hee hee) and I'm really loving the way it fits. Plus, it reminds me of the awesome illustrated Lanvin tee with Alber's rendering of little girls. This one isn't as cheerful (it's a little more Nico, right?), but I think it achieves the same kind of cool vibe. Gah,I'm destined to be a packrat forever.

Wow, that shirt IS really cool! It makes feel bad that I'm the opposite of a packrat and have to keep giving things away in order to make room for new stuff!

I remember your tee! I am happy you didn't toss it either....tees don't take up too much storage room anyway!

When I was packing in June to leave I got rid of clothes, when I came home I got rid of clothes and now I'm moving again and I'll probably get rid of more. But I'm trying this new thing of if I don't wear it anymore and I used to really love it, I'll keep it for memories or to give to my daughter. :)

In my many moves I have given many things away including roller skates and an awesome pair of earnest sewn jeans that were a little too big for me and that i thought i would never grow into. Now I reeeeally wish I had them. (Seriously though, I threw out roller skates? BOO ON ME!)
