Formerly 6267, Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi shed their "Prince" name and are now going by their last names, in addition to designing for the Gianfranco Ferre label. I'm sure most of their energies went to Ferre, but that's sort of to be expected. I thought this print was really cool.
2. Bottega Veneta:
Wearing a leather outfit in the spring seems counterproductive, but the colors are so beautiful that I would make an exception.
This seems so classic yet edgy. I love the colors and the beautiful simple shape. The necklace and the shoes perfectly compliment the look.
This is super duper cool. What is up with Kim Noorda's roots though? C-R-A-Z-Y!
Similar colors to the Bottega Veneta look but in an easier way to wear. This is seriously fab although I am not digging the fannypack as much in this one. Do you guys think I can pull this yellow off? I'ma have to find out.
4. Jil Sander:
The Jil Sander collection seemed fantastic. Raf Simons took this 20's fringe thing and really developed it in beautiful and wonderful ways far removed from the typical flapper cliche. Most of the looks were deceptively simple on the front and then when they turned around there was intricate fringe and draping and it was all very sensuous. I'll definitely have to wait until editorial season to get to see the backs of this pieces. They were truly magnificent. This was the first look to come out on the runway. I think it's to die for.
This trenchcoat is so cool! The flower-like volume in the sleeves is a little too much for me to handle. I want it.
