Paris Spring 09: Alexander McQueen

McQueen did NOT disappoint.

Love the shape and the crazy wooden print. It's very powerful.

This dress is pretty, but not prissy. I never thought yellow could look this sexy?

I think this is a dress that Empress Theodora would wear. I don't know why, but that was the first thought that came to my head when I saw it.

The printed mini dresses were really outstanding. The one right above is my favorite, it's like a psychedelic skeleton or something.

Everything was just so cool and young but with a certain depth to it. You know what I mean? Like, it's a short, sparkly dresss with built-in hourglass silhouette, but it's so much more than that. There is thought and intent that went into making it the way it is and that shows in the final product. Ack! I hope that makes sense.

These dresses are gorgeous, pure eye candy. And I love what they did with the hair, actually, like vines crawling around the face, or roots or something.
