The Final Frontier

I am totally obsessed with these little wedges from Louis Vuitton's resort collection. There's definitely something to be said for LV as one of the ultimate real luxury brands, up there with Hermes in terms of exclusivity. Sure, you can get a fake LV on any street corner, but when it comes to the clothes and shoes, there's no way to acquire them unless you are in the biz or are rich, I guess. The few times I've been to their store in Soho, I don't think I've even seen the cool pieces, it's always leather goods and the shoes that have logos on them that no one really cares about. On top of that, they don't sell them at the department stores, so I don't even know how one goes about purchasing thesse. They seem to exist solely for the runway shows, the magazines and the editors that put those magazines together.
So yeah, I love these shoes and they'll never be mine.

Ps. Nine West, feel free to knock them off, thanks.

The shoes are lovely indeed. . . although when I flipped through and saw this shoot in Vogue, I was a little underwhelmed. Some of the clothing is amazing (ie: the Missoni dress) but the shoot was just sort of blah. . .

and raquel is jumping in every.single.picture. which i just think is ridiculous.

i love avedon as much as the next gal, but they really have to mix it up every once in a while.

I totally know the feeling, and even if I was to have extra money, I would feel so guilty wearing them, I mean the second you walk on cement they are officially yours. LOL> They are sooo cute.

And I love the last dress!!
