Identified! Julie Brøgger

Two kind readers identified the mystery designer that was part of the Designers Nest competition as Julie Brøgger. She is 27, and this was part of her MA graduate collection. It was inspired by an old cover of Tatler with Vivienne Westwood dressed as Margaret Thatcher on the cover with a caption that read "This woman was once a punk", which is a totally awesome starting point for anything, really. I think she has an incredible knack for making beautiful lady-like clothes that are cool and avant-garde without being weird and unrealistic. I really love what she's doing. Here's hoping this isn't the last we see of her!

Oh wow, these are gorgeous - the sheer chiffon in the second and the structured jacket in the last are particular faves!!
