London Spring 2010: Jonathan Saunders
Jonathan Saunders has established a look that is all about bold, vibrant colors, and for spring, he turned it all around by delivering a collection filled with pastel colors and subtle fabric variations. I loved it all, it's such quiet way to make a huge impact.
The sheer white vs opaque white colorblocking is simply fantastic. The whole look is so clean and pure (which is why the black bands on the shoes are the perfect contrast). There's a weird tension that happens when you have such a sexy silhouette but in such subdued, "innocent" colors. This dress is just super cool. Soft delicate ruffles on semi-sheer baby blue fabric, can really give you a case of the "want-its". I'm not really keen on the pieces here, but I love the neon yellow and greyish print on the fabric. Hell YES to this awesome dress with rectangles hanging out.
