NYC Spring 2010 VI

1. DKNY:

I am very, very serious about my current love affair with hot pants. I will have to figure out a way to make this happen in real life. It's obvious that they can be part of a business (mostly)casual attire, when paired with a blouse and blazer. Stripes and flowers are also always good.

2. Behnaz Sarafpour:
This feels like a Chanel-ism, but it's probably only because it's piped in black and feels very Parisian chick. The only thing that could make this blouse more perfect is if there was no bow at the neck. Nude lace is always, always good (and is it lined? because I don't see any nipples. Amazing!)

I'm not totally into this dress, but I really liked the confetti print on the bodice.

3. Wayne:
Ok, so this is some crazy Obi-Wan Kenobi malarky, but maybe that's what makes it so good? The nude, sheer paneled leggings are insane and while I would NEVER advocate for them to be worn as pants, I gotta admit they look pretty good here.

Zip-off vest(?) creates diamond edges. Love.

4. Narciso Rodriguez:
The thing that makes this jumpsuit be amazing is the asymmetrical band at the waist, and the way it reflects in the crazy pattern (can you make out the thick asymmetric stripe going the other way?).

5. Vera Wang:

A long black silhouette is best offset by epic silver necklaces.
