What's next, sheer knee highs? Duly noted.

Julie Gilhart and Amanda Brooks at the CFDA awards.

You know it's for real because they wore it at the same event

I first saw this look over a year ago in Tokyo. It did not look good then and it still doesn't. What women don't see is how it looks from the back, flesh bulging out over the top because they are usually very tight. Not attractive at all on pretty much all women.

in a complete brain lapse i bought hot pink sheer over the knee socks last week. scrunched down they look cool, but besides that i have no idea how to wear them well.

I dont know what this trend means, but i also didnt think it was so serious! haha
they look good in them, if a bit weird. i bought a pair of black sheer knee highs after seeing Thakoons prefall collection but i never ever feel like anything other than an old lady that works at the DMV

I never knew they were so trendy! I just thought they . . . were.

Sorry above peeps^^^I am rockin the sheer knee highs saggy, baggy, old lady styles with heels and patterned or ripped as knee highs with heeled platform booties. Even gotta coupla ankle stocking socks I wear with boat shoes. No kidds! I really enjoy the look, but you do have to pre-stretch the tops to stop bulgy back knee.
