London Fall 2010 II

1. Louise Goldin:
I recently found a pair of lace-trimmed neon tights and I've started wearing them as biker shorts over black tights and under black dresses for a secret surprise of color. I'm glad to get validation from someone as cool as Louise Goldin. The structured black dress is amazing.

2. Basso & Brooke:
Their crazy prints look entirely different when applied to slouchy drawstring-waist coats. It's a kind of psychedelic-hip hop look.

3. Nicole Farhi:
Fuckyess Celine aftereffects. These Farhi pants are MAJOR.

4. Aquascutum:
The subtle round shapes in this maxi coat are exquisite.

Asymmetric cape-coat situation is to next level. Who knew it could be sexy when paired with a button down blouse and straight-leg trousers?

Now that Olivier Theyskens isn't designing anymore, someone was bound to step up and take in for his Edwardian-inspired visions.

5. Julien Macdonald:
Super-chunky cable knit sweater-dress, perfect for chilly nights at the beach.

This dress makes me think of photocopy of a Rodarte dress. I don't know why because the dress isn't even a copy of it or anything, but that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw it. It's bizarre.

Keeping it business-cash in a slim coat dress.
