1. Jason Wu:
Woah, Jason Wu, is this for serious? This is total
Giambattista Valli territory but I totally dig it. I love a crazy
poufy skirt, especially one with a print of dripping Irving Penn-inspired flowers.
2. Doo.Ri.:
I'm always attracted to the mix of hard/soft and this
shirtdress epitomizes that. Military shape at the top and draped chiffon at the bottom. This is a definite "buy it now/wear forever" piece.
3. Jenni Kayne:
Moto Style Jacket + Below the knee pencil skirt + heather gray = the new suit.
Hi, I need this to live.
4. Vera Wang:
This would be perfect if the bottom went all the way to the ankles. I can't really stand
capri-pants. But I love the colors, the mess of pearls and the crazy chiffon sleeves.
5. Preen:
The "ugly-vintage"
florals are gonna be a big thing for fall (although, is it really new or has it been going on for forever? I feel like I'm always describing
florals that way
haha). I'm generally not a fan of turtlenecks, but if they are super cropped to the point of just covering the shoulders, then by all means, count me in.

This minimalist, architectural beige suit seems a little out of place at Preen, but it's pretty major. Both these looks seem like they belong more at a spring show than at a fall show (what is more spring-like than a khaki suit?) but that's not to take away from its goodness. The
lil' cream lace up heels are definitely the perfect pairing for it. This is pure 90's and I unabashedly love it.

But don't those flowers at Jason Wu remind you of Cy Twombly? At all?
Ooooh that skirt is the exact length that you've been blogging about lately!!:)
Preen was SOOOOOGOOOD! It was the 2nd show this season that I loved everything coming down the runway (Givenchy Menswear was #1)
That Jason Wu dress is one of my favs that I've seen in my peeking around style.com so far. The print, the SILHOUETTE!!! SO NICE!!!! It's classic, in a totally ancient style, you know? It reminds me of the crazy hoop skirts, but then also reminds me of sheath dresses....I dunno, it's amazingness all around.
