Oh hai shoe junkies! Didn't think I would actually forget about shoes, did y'all? These are my fave shoes from the runway (that had detail shots at Style.com haha).
Calvin Klein's architectural
mary-
janes with
treaded soles and
slightly-disjointed tube heel are equal parts dominatrix and sophistication.

Proenza Schouler's madcap 70's via 90's wooden platforms with a CURVED heel are really straddling good taste but in the end, they come out total winners. The black and white saddle shoes with Dr. Martens-like yellow
topstitching are my favorite.

The perfect
lil' Victorian kitten heel lace up at
Marc by Marc Jacobs.

These super awesome printed boots could only belong to one man...
Erdem. I have no idea where these are available but they are kind of necessary for living?

More awesome
laceup boots out of London, this time from
Jonathan Saunders.

LOVE these weirdo duck-boot pumps that Karl
Lagerfeld sent down the runway at
Fendi. The tan ones are definitely the coolest ones, with the contrasting yellow heel and brown rubber toe-protector. And then as if that wasn't enough we get a boot-style with a back zipper AND a thick cuff around the ankle! Too much is never enough.

Perfectly minimal flat rubber boots courtesy of Raf
Simons at
Jil Sander.

Marni always has awesome shoes and this season is no exception. The polka-dot cutout blue with a bell heel are really cool, but it's the ridiculous platform on platform that stole my heart. Whether on red clogs with a contrasting red/white piping or on a pair of blue leather boots with wooden platforms and silver piping, it all just WORKS.

I'm not quite sure what was happening on the feet of the girls at
Missoni. Are they knitted mules worn with matching socks (cute) Or are the KNITTED LITTLE BOOTS??? Please be the latter.

Ah Nicolas, Nicolas, Nicolas, you sure do know how to drive the ladies crazy. These
Balenciaga shoes are a piece of art for your feet. The shoes are already rad shapes and then you add a crazy mix of materials and then you clip on some contrasting color soles and then you make a geometric heel and then you attach some more geometric shapes to that heel and then every blogger ever has a heart attack and dies. The end of the digital revolution. RIP.
Valentino's red pointy-toed studded multi t-strap
maryjanes are IT.
Where do the sell Valentino shoes? I have a year to figure it out, I'll make it work.

Perfect shade of blue, with your choice of hairdo at
Yves Saint Laurent.

my faves are the Balenciagas. I also like the sole in those Calvin Kleins and for some weird reason I also like the first Erdem shoes. even though they are kind of disgusting (sorry!) but still i like them for some reason...
am I the only 1 who always checks out the models´ toes? you know... you can see her toes are coming out from between the straps in the last Balenciaga shoes for example. haha this is so unneccesary but i cant help but noticing :D
