Resort 2011: Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney's collection was lovely and unabashedly feminine and plenty of beautiful lacy frocks, but it was her flower prints that really got me.
It all started with the perfect a-line white coat/dress with scattered floral photo-illustrations throughout.

Then the photo-illustrations get mixed with an even more realistic print. Obviously I am dying over the mis-matching/matching pieces. Imagine all the things you could do with that jacket in your wardrobe!

And then THIS, which seems like the antithesis to Christopher Kane's nuclear bomb-themed resort 2010 collection. It's perfect for the totally rad second-summer-of-love-vibes that are happening round these parts. But beyond all that it's just PERFECT!

Toatally agree, both this and your last post on Balenciaga have been food for the soul. No more looking back, instead finally something very new. Lets hope the high street doesn't butcher it.

The coat/dress is just lovely... I can picture you, with your cute face, wearing that one. The jacket has enough punch/classic styte balance, i'd dare to wear it for work... that would be VERY cool.
