Everything is wonderful now

A couple months ago I wrote about Norweigan Wood's super rad spring looks. I fell hard for the long striped-sheer skirt so imagine how insanely psyched I was when Angie, the awesome lady behind the line, offered to send me one in the mail! The skirt has lived beyond my wildest expectations, it was kind of the missing link in my wardrobe. Anything I pair with it is automatically awesome and I get a gazillion compliments whenever I wear it.

The best part about the sheer detail is that it allows me to do some weirdo minimalist-mormon looks, like when I pair it with my favorite sheer button-up from American Apparel (which is supposed to take the place of Celine in my closet). Usually I wear a neon green tube under it BUT, there's something kinda rad about buttoning all the way up and then wearing a super sporty black bra underneath. The skirt is also the perfect thing to balance my new favorite man shoes from Alexander Wang. It manages to bring all my current inspirations together, Celine/Jil Sander/The Row/Boho-minimalist (nothatsnotanoxymoron).
(Yes, one side of me wants to be a minimalist queen and the other side wants to bathe in chunky knit layers like Missoni, NO ONE SAID I HAD TO PICK JUST ONE!)

I could keep writing about all the awesome things this skirt has done for my wardrobe but I think the proof is in the pudding?

THANK YOU ANGIE!
This is my absolute favorite skirt.

(Obvz the inspiration for these pictures was stoic Jil Sander ads, just in case you couldn't tell hahaha)

Holy crap this is PERFECT. I recently bought a pair of loafers and I can't wait for it to be not 100 degrees outside to wear them.

Man alive, this is one of the BEST looks I've seen in a long time. What an amazing skirt. And how great of you to be standing in front of the doors of the Mormon tabernacle.
