Resort 2011: Marni
Resort coverage will apparently go on forever here, but who cares when it's clothes as awesome as the ones Marni showed? They are the literal definition of too cool for school, no man, too cool for LIFE!

The jacket and the skirt are the perfect example of the boho-minimalist (minimalist silhouettes with bohemian details) thing I'm really into for fall. The jacket is an update on the basic bomber silhouette, but with intricate pleating. The polka dot on polka dot blouse in a weird color palette that doesn't even match the jacket and the skirt is the obvious missing link.

THIS look, though, is EVERYTHING. Weirdo mormon vibes strike again! The long yellow skirt is just delightful and when it's paired with a punky-vibez vertical stripe button-down with a fluffy shoulder accoutrement it becomes this weird melange of 70's working woman and 80's new wave that's just right on the money.

The tracksuit gets reinvented again (Phoebe Philo also did one at Celine). Love this super relaxed and secretly opulent version.

The colors man, amazing! From what you've shown, I can only assum that the rest of the collection is amazeballs!
I badly need that yellow skirt <3
Nothing like a pair of 'band geek' stripe pants....that's what i'm gunning for.
Very sophisticated fashion and nice taste. Thanks for sharing.
