London Spring 2011 II

1 Richard Nicoll
A little witch mixed with (sexy) uniform by way of Proenza Schouler.

2 Basso and Brooke
Old map prints dresses are essential.

3 Pringle of Scotland
Loved the layers of lasercut pieces at Pringle of Scotland. The grass skirt shoes seemed a little disconcerting (and reminiscent of Reed Krakoff's sping shoes as well), but it really did bring a more grounded tone to semi-futuristic clothing.

A short sleeve uniform-type shirt with a slight oversized fit paired with a romantic lace wrap skirt in similar shades of blue is the perfect example of how opposites attract.

4 Peter Pilotto
Two dresses in one! Some uniform vibes, a little ice skater glam with the skin-toned insets and a whole lot of awesome. I am really in love with these, actually, there's something very fresh about the silhouettes and the colors. Like a real new way of thinking about getting dressed now.

5 Acne
Sometimes you can achieve the perfect balance with just the right slouchy sweater and the perfect shade of red.
