Band of Outsiders' presentations are always a real treat because they are little escapes. This season, they launched Girl by Band of Outsiders, a lower-priced slightly more feminine little sister to their Band of Outsiders and Boy by Band of Outsiders roster. The Girl clothes were some of my favorite of Saturday night, and I'm sure that their presentation in front of a misty, hazy wall didn't hurt. The whole scene was beautiful and I decided that I just wanted to move there and wear those clothes forever.
The gauzy floral prints are a little girlier than what I'm usually attracted to, but there's a secret grungy vibe running through the looks that makes it a little tough and off-kilter, thanks to the sweater with cutouts on the front and the big wooden platforms. I am firmly on board the maxi length trend, BRING THOSE HEMS DOWN, LADIES*! *I would say that if I worked at Vogue.
These super lounge-y looks are kind of amazing as well, especially the whole "outdoor pajama" look on the left.
Boy kept its tomboy chic as per ush, and totally swept me away with a little white tuxedo suit with a flirty skirt. I am terrible at wearing white clothes but would invest in a lifetime supply of Tide pens in order to wear this everyday. Ugh, just look at how that jacket falls in the front!
My #1 favorite look from their collection was DEFINITELY this asymmetric shirt-dress. Sheer oxford top, mis-matched chambray(?)-situation skirt. This one I will hunt.down.
