Prabal Gurung's bold color palette had me right from the start. I was a little surprised at how young and modern the silhouettes were, especially when paired with killer bandage sandals.
Although the turquoise and yellow are giving me intense Snow White vibes (or maybe BECAUSE of it?), I really love this little ensemble. Perfect for some young celeb to parade at a cocktail party.
Thakoon was very light and feminine and his denim double-waistband high-waisted jeans fit into the spring trouser trend perfectly.
3 Diane von Furstenberg
You guys know I love a bold mis-matched print and DvF offered an especially fun version. Puzzle pieces and baroque frames are super cool together
A little bit on the opposite side of the spectrum she sent out these vaguely Marni-esque separates that were speaking a little bit more directly to the way I want to dress these days. Loose shapes and delicious saturated colors make sophisticated dressing an easy affair.
4 Vena Cava
Vena Cava makes cool dresses. Their flowy dresses with color-blocked geometric details are just that.
5 Cynthia Rowley
So many things are happening in this Cynthia Rowley look that it could easy go into overkill and perhaps it's because of the subtle color palette that it works. I think it's safe to say that the sleeveless oxford is one of the must-have items for next season (if you didn't already succumb to it this season like I did hahaha).
