All my favorite things in one place

(except for Bruno Mars)

Joan Smalls in the streets of Old San Juan in Puerto Rico! The way the sunlight is captured in these images is so perfect it's making me homesick. I can't even tell you all the amazing fun nights I had at San Sebastian street. Smalls is a fucking QUEEN as per usual. Love her. Love this forever.

(Although the inclusion of that Prada dress seems a little "kimono in Japan" if you know what I'm saying. I mean, I get it but at the same time, come on!)

And also, here's my favorite song this week:

Aaliyah : Are You That Somebody?

Yeah, this is for realz. I made a mini playlist yesterday that started out with this song and then I just kinda played it on repeat. I really don't know why all of a sudden this music seems so perfect when at the time it was popular I wanted nothing to do with it. I'm into it though! Higher consciousness and all that.

I saw the first picture of the editorial and I KNEW right away it was Old San Juan. I thought thet the Prada dress was too obvious!! And what's the deal with the little girls cardigans and coats?? Poor things! They must've been miserable. But the light was just perfect!
